Welcome to Animecord

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Animecord website and Discord bot (“Service”) operated by Animecord (“us”, “we”, or “our”). By adding the bot to a server or using any bot command, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By using Animecord’s services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • You will use our services responsibly, lawfully, and in good faith

Our Services

AI Image Generation

Generate anime-style artwork through Discord slash commands using Animecord’s proprietary AI image generation pipeline, with built-in smart prompt enhancement. Each user receives up to 15 free generations per day, reset at midnight UTC.

Discord Server Discovery

Browse and discover anime Discord communities through our platform integration with AnimeDiscord.com.

AI Companions (Coming Soon)

Interactive AI characters for Discord servers with uploadable personalities and unique identities.

Usage Limits & Rate Controls

To ensure fair access for all users, the following automatic limits apply:

  • Daily generation limit: 15 images per user per day, reset at midnight UTC
  • Cooldown between commands: A short cooldown period applies after each generation
  • Concurrent lock: Only one active generation is allowed per user at a time
  • Spam penalty: Repeated rapid requests accumulate additional cooldown time (up to 5 minutes)

You can check your remaining daily generations at any time using the /limits command.

User Responsibilities

You agree NOT to:

  • Generate content involving minors in any inappropriate, sexual, or harmful context
  • Attempt to produce content depicting gore, graphic violence, self-harm, or illegal acts
  • Use prompt injection, leet-speak substitutions, or other techniques to bypass content filters
  • Spam commands, flood the bot, or abuse the generation queue
  • Use our services for illegal activities, harassment, or targeted abuse of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise the bot or its underlying APIs
  • Share or distribute generated content in ways that violate applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Impersonate others or use the bot to create misleading or defamatory content

Content Policy

All prompts and generated content must comply with:

  • Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Local and international laws in your jurisdiction
  • Animecord’s internal content moderation standards
  • Animecord’s AI usage guidelines and community standards

Prompts are automatically scanned for prohibited keywords and patterns before processing. Repeated violations are logged and may result in a permanent ban from the bot.

Enforcement & Bans

We operate an automated security system that monitors for abuse patterns including coordinated prompt reuse across multiple servers, rapid server-hopping, and repeated content violations.

Violations may result in:

  • Temporary cooldown penalties (automatically applied)
  • CAPTCHA challenges to verify legitimate use
  • Permanent ban from all Animecord services (stored in our database)
  • Reporting to Discord if required by law or their guidelines

Ban records are retained indefinitely. If you believe you have been banned in error, please contact us via our Discord support server.

Server Administrators

If you add Animecord to a Discord server, you as the server administrator:

  • Are responsible for ensuring your server members comply with these Terms
  • May designate a specific channel for image generation using /setchannel
  • Acknowledge that your server’s configuration (channel mapping) is stored in our database
  • May remove the bot at any time; server configuration data will persist until manually cleared

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 24/7 uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot relies on our AI infrastructure which may experience occasional outages. We may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any downtime, generation failures, or service interruptions.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without prior notice, for violations of these Terms or conduct we deem harmful to the community. You may stop using our services at any time. Termination does not automatically erase data already stored per our data retention policy.

Disclaimer

Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the accuracy or quality of AI-generated content, outputs from third-party APIs, technical issues, or any damages resulting from use of our services. AI-generated images may be unpredictable — use our services at your own risk.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through our Discord server or website announcements. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
