Your Privacy Matters
This Privacy Policy explains what data Animecord (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects when you use our Discord bot and website, how we use it, and how long we keep it. We are committed to minimal data collection, transparency, and never selling your information.
What We Collect
Bot Usage Data
When you use a bot command, we store the following in our database:
- Your Discord User ID and username
- Total images generated (all-time counter)
- Daily image generation count (reset at midnight UTC)
- Timestamp of your last interaction
Security & Moderation Data
To detect and prevent abuse, we also store:
- Content violation records — violation type, severity, and the offending prompt
- Prompt fingerprints (hashed, not plain text) — to detect coordinated abuse across servers
- Guild/server activity history — to detect rapid server-hopping behaviour
- Ban records — User ID, reason, date, and the admin who issued the ban
- Spam penalties accumulated on your account
Server Configuration
- Guild (server) ID and its designated generation channel — set via
/setchannel
Website (animecord.com)
- Discord OAuth2 login data (User ID, username, avatar) — only when you log in
- Session tokens stored as cookies for authenticated sessions
- Anonymised page analytics for performance monitoring
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not store your generated images permanently — they are delivered and discarded
- We do not store your raw prompts long-term (only violation records when a rule is triggered)
- We do not track your activity outside of bot commands or website sessions
- We do not use your data to train AI models
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes
- We do not expose your data to other users of the bot
How We Use Your Data
- Service delivery: Process generation commands and enforce per-user daily limits
- Abuse prevention: Detect spam, coordinated misuse, and content policy violations
- Moderation: Maintain ban records and manage enforcement actions
- Performance: Monitor system health and optimise response times
- Legal compliance: Retain records required to respond to lawful requests

Deletion
Contact us via Discord to request deletion of your stored data (ban records may be retained for safety)

Simply stop using the bot — no further data will be collected after your last interaction

Cookies & Tracking
The Animecord website uses minimal cookies:
- Session cookies: Keep you logged in via Discord OAuth2
- Preference cookies: Remember your UI settings
- Analytics: Anonymised page view data to improve performance
